Photographer Cornell Capa, born April 10, 1918, captures an image of the Israeli Defense Forces advancing in the Sinai desert during the 6 Day War. An Israel returning to the Sinai, towards Egypt – the same nation that rejoices in its Exodus in B’Tzeit Yisrael?

Jerusalem Haggadah – Norman Slepkov
We found images of Jerusalem-based artist Norman Slepkov’s Jerusalem Hagaddah and didn’t want to wait a whole year to share them! While the holiday of Passover may be behind us for this year, the message of this month’s text B’Tzeit Yisrael continues to resonate. May all of our Passover experiences lead us to greater creativity and the freedom to use our art to express our connection to the Jewish tradition.
To see Norman Slepkov’s rendering of B’Tzeit Yisrael, please follow this link: http://www.haggadahbynorman.com/hp34.html

The Jewish Background Check
“When Israel went forth from Egypt…”
Essential words in the background story of the Jewish people. Our art gives this story new life every day. How will you be inspired to bring it front and center in this new month of Nissan?
